Getting started

Recurrs

Recurrs tracks everything recurring in your financial life — subscriptions, free trials, expenses, income, loans and the things you own — and shows you what renews next and where the money actually goes. It runs on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Android.

Tap the + button, type the service name, and let autofill do the rest — on Citrus it fills in the logo, link, price and category for you. On the free tier you type the price, billing cycle and next renewal date, and Recurrs works out the totals.

Yes. The Water tier is free permanently and covers 6 subscriptions, 3 active free trials, 4 payment methods and 2 profiles, plus all the charts, imports, sharing and every platform. Citrus is the paid tier and lifts every cap.

iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Android. Sign in with the same account and everything syncs. The Watch app signs in independently, so it works without the phone nearby.

You need one for sync, sharing and anything server-side. Sign in with Apple, with Google, or with an email and password.

Tracking and editing

Recurrs

Open any card to get its detail view, where every field is editable. Swipe on the card in a list to delete. Deleting is immediate and is not recoverable, so export first if you are unsure.

Recurrs normalises everything to a monthly figure for the dashboard. Annual charges are divided by twelve and weekly ones multiplied by 4.33. If a number still looks off, check the billing cycle on that specific item — a yearly plan entered as monthly is the usual cause.

Yes. Open the expense and add a second category with its own amount. Useful for a shop run that was really groceries plus household.

A built-in method that cannot be deleted, so there is always somewhere to put an untracked spend. It counts toward the free tier limit of four.

Add the trial with its end date and Recurrs counts down to the charge, then converts it to a live subscription when it lands. Ended trials stop counting against the free-tier limit of three active.

Notifications and widgets

Recurrs

Check notification permission first — Settings, then Notifications, then Recurrs, and make sure Allow Notifications is on. Then confirm the renewal date is in the future. If it is a Watch problem, check that the Watch app is signed in under its own settings.

Widgets refresh on a schedule the system controls, so a short delay is normal. If it stays blank, remove the widget and add it again — that forces a fresh timeline. Make sure the app has been opened at least once since installing.

Yes — through Siri, an App Intent or the Shortcuts app. Ask Siri to add an expense, or build a shortcut and put it on your lock screen.

Sync and accounts

Recurrs

Almost always the wrong profile. Data is scoped per profile, so if the device is looking at Personal and the items live in Family, the list comes back empty. Switch profiles from the picker at the top of the dashboard. The "no results" empty state is the usual tell.

No. Sync runs on our own backend, which is why the Android app is a first-class citizen rather than a port, and why the Watch can sign in by itself.

Install Recurrs, sign in with the same account, and everything comes down. Nothing needs to be exported first.

Yes. Create a shared profile and invite the other person by username. Anything added to that profile is visible to everyone in it, and they can leave at any time. Two profiles are free.

Importing data

Recurrs

CSV, Excel, Google Sheets, bank-statement PDFs, and photographed receipts. All of them run through the same duplicate matcher, so importing the same statement twice does not double your numbers.

The matcher is deliberately cautious with cash entries, since those have no reference to match on. Use bulk category edit to clean them up, and tell us what the source file looked like so we can tighten the rule.

It is opt-in and reads sender addresses and subject lines only — never message bodies — across the last six months, looking for billing mail. Disconnect from app settings or at myaccount.google.com/permissions and the token is deleted immediately.

Yes, to CSV or Excel, on the Citrus tier. Your data is never held hostage.

Billing and subscriptions

Recurrs

Through the store, not through us. On Apple: Settings, your name, Subscriptions. On Android: Play Store, Payments and subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next charge and the paid period runs to its end.

Refunds are issued by Apple or Google since they process the payment. Use reportaproblem.apple.com or your Play Store order history. If the fault was ours, tell us and we will back the claim.

Force-quit and reopen the app to make it re-check the receipt, and confirm you are signed into the same store account that made the purchase. If it still will not unlock, send us the purchase date and the store account region.

Nothing is deleted. Receipts captured while you were subscribed are kept forever. New items go back to the free caps, and you can still export everything.

Privacy and security

Recurrs

No, and it never will. There is no bank link, no credentials, no transaction feed. Data gets in by typing, importing or scanning — all of which you control.

Turn on Face ID or Touch ID lock in settings. The app then requires authentication every time it comes to the foreground.

Settings, then Account, then Delete Account. Everything personal is removed from our database within 30 days and the on-device copy goes as soon as you delete the app. It cannot be undone, so export first if you want a copy.

Neuron

Neuron

It is still in development and has no release date. Join the test group and you will get it before it is public.

It is an intelligent database of you — everything you read, think, save and half-remember, kept in one place that understands it and hands it back when you need it.

It has not been priced yet. When it is, the pricing page will say so.
