Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Recurrs application ("App," "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you") and Varun Anand, an individual developer operating under the Figo brand ("Figo," "we," "us," "our").
If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must immediately stop using the Service and delete the App from your device. Your continued use of the Service constitutes ongoing acceptance of these Terms as they are amended from time to time.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
Description of Service
Recurrs is a personal subscription management application designed to help individuals track, organise, and understand their recurring subscription expenses. The Service includes the following features (subject to the tier limitations described in Section 5):
- Subscription tracking with billing cycle, amount, and category management
- Renewal reminders and usage check-in notifications
- AI-powered spending insights and advice (Pro)
- Optional Gmail scanning to auto-detect billing subscriptions (Pro, opt-in)
- Cloud sync across multiple devices (Pro)
- Spending analytics and usage ratings
- Subscription sharing ("Split") feature
Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to create an account and use the Service.
- By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet the minimum age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
- If you are between 13 and 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the Service.
- The Service is available only to individual users for personal, non-commercial use unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
Account Registration
To access certain features (including cloud sync, AI features, and Gmail scanning), you must register for an account. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:
- All information you provide is accurate, current, and complete
- You will maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate
- You will maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
- You will notify us immediately at support@figoapp.net upon becoming aware of any unauthorised use of your account or any other security breach
- You will not create accounts for other persons without their express permission
- You will not create multiple accounts to circumvent feature limitations or free trial policies
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
We reserve the right to refuse registration, cancel accounts, or remove content at our discretion.
4.1 Account Security
You are solely responsible for safeguarding your password. We will never ask for your password via email, in-app messages, or any channel outside of the official sign-in screen. If you suspect your account has been compromised, change your password immediately and contact us.
Free and Pro Tiers
Recurrs is available in two tiers. Features are subject to change with reasonable notice.

Subscriptions & Payments
6.1 Billing
Recurrs Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription. All billing is processed exclusively by Apple through the App Store. We never receive, process, or store your payment card information. By purchasing a Pro subscription, you agree to Apple's Terms of Sale.
6.2 Auto-renewal
- Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, as selected) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions).
6.3 Pricing changes
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Price changes will take effect at the next renewal date and you will be notified by Apple in advance in accordance with Apple's policies.
6.4 Refunds
All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as provided by Apple's refund policy. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We have no ability to process refunds directly.
6.5 Downgrade
If your Pro subscription lapses or is cancelled, your account will revert to the Free tier. Subscriptions exceeding the free tier limit (3 active) will be retained in your account data but will be hidden from the main view. No data is deleted upon downgrade. You may resubscribe at any time to restore full access.
Free Trial
New users may be offered a limited-time free trial of Recurrs Pro. The following conditions apply to free trials:
- Free trials are available to new users who have not previously subscribed to Recurrs Pro on the same Apple ID.
- The trial duration is as displayed at the time of offer and may vary.
- No payment is charged during the trial period. A payment method may be required to start the trial.
- If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and your payment method will be charged.
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free trial at any time for new users.
- Only one free trial per person. Creating multiple accounts to obtain additional trials is prohibited and may result in account termination.
Promo Codes
We may issue promotional codes ("Promo Codes") granting access to Recurrs Pro features. By redeeming a Promo Code, you agree that:
- Promo Codes are subject to expiry dates and usage limits specified at the time of issuance.
- Codes are non-transferable, have no cash value, and may not be sold, traded, or bartered.
- Codes are limited to one redemption per account and one per person unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- Codes obtained through fraudulent means, resale, or circumvention of our systems are void and may result in account termination.
- We reserve the right to revoke any Promo Code at any time without notice if we determine it was obtained improperly.
- Promo Code access does not extend the duration of, or substitute for, a paid Pro subscription unless explicitly stated.
Gmail Scanning Feature
By enabling Gmail scanning, you specifically agree to the following additional terms:
- You authorise Recurrs to access your Gmail account for the limited purpose of identifying billing and subscription-related emails.
- We access only email sender addresses and subject lines. We do not read, store, or transmit email body content.
- A Google OAuth refresh token will be stored securely in our cloud database (server-side only) to enable background scanning. This token is never stored on your device or returned in any API response.
- You may revoke this access at any time. Upon revocation or disconnection, your refresh token is immediately deleted from our systems.
- Gmail data is used solely within Recurrs to surface subscription suggestions. It is not used for advertising, not shared with third parties (other than Google, through the Gmail API itself), and not used to train AI models.
- Our use of Gmail data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Gmail scanning is a beta feature. Accuracy of subscription detection is not guaranteed. Detected subscriptions require your confirmation before being added to your account.
AI Features
Recurrs Pro includes AI-powered features ("AI Advisor" and "AI Assistant") powered by Google's Gemini API via a secure backend proxy.
- AI features send your subscription names, amounts, billing cycles, and usage ratings to Google's Gemini API. No personally identifiable information (name, email, Gmail data) is sent to Gemini.
- AI responses are generated automatically. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate for your specific financial situation.
- You may not use AI features to generate content that is illegal, harmful, deceptive, or in violation of Google's usage policies.
- We reserve the right to suspend AI features if required by Google's policies or due to abuse.
- Response times and availability of AI features depend on third-party services and are not guaranteed.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise derive the source code of the App
- Share, resell, sublicense, or transfer your account or Pro access to other persons
- Attempt to circumvent Pro subscription requirements through technical or other means
- Use automated scripts, bots, crawlers, or other automated tools to access the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its associated infrastructure
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, its servers, or any connected systems
- Use the Service to store, transmit, or facilitate transmission of malware or harmful code
- Impersonate any person or entity or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity
- Use the AI features to generate content that violates applicable law or third-party rights
- Create multiple accounts to exploit free trials or promo codes
- Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities in the Service; instead, report them to support@figoapp.net
Violation of this section may result in immediate account termination without refund.
Data & Privacy
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by this reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection, use, storage, and processing of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
You retain ownership of your subscription data. By syncing your data to our cloud (Pro), you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
You are responsible for ensuring that any data you input into the Service does not violate any applicable law or third-party rights.
Intellectual Property
All content, features, functionality, design, code, trademarks, logos, and other materials comprising Recurrs (excluding your user data) are owned by Varun Anand and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on your personal iOS device(s) for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service
- Create derivative works based on the Service
- Use our trademarks or branding without our prior written consent
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices within the App
All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by Varun Anand.
Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with and depends upon certain third-party services. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of any third-party services, and your use of them is subject to their respective terms and policies:

Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT
- WARRANTIES THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS
- WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE SERVICE OR AI FEATURES
- WARRANTIES THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- WARRANTIES REGARDING THIRD-PARTY SERVICES INTEGRATED WITH THE APP
You use the Service at your own risk. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the Service is with you.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL VARUN ANAND, FIGO, OR ANY OF THEIR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY:
- INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
- LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES
- DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED ADVICE OR RECOMMENDATIONS
- DAMAGES RESULTING FROM UNAUTHORISED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR DATA
- DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY INTERRUPTION OR CESSATION OF THE SERVICE
- DAMAGES RESULTING FROM BUGS, VIRUSES, OR OTHER HARMFUL CODE TRANSMITTED BY THIRD PARTIES
- DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR FAILURE TO CANCEL SUBSCRIPTIONS BASED ON APP NOTIFICATIONS
ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE), EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN JURISDICTIONS THAT DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR THE LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, OUR LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) INR 1,000 (ONE THOUSAND INDIAN RUPEES).
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Varun Anand, Figo, and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Your use of the Service in a manner not authorised by these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights
- Any data or content you submit through the Service
Termination
18.1 Termination by you
You may stop using the Service at any time. To permanently delete your account and all associated data, use Settings → Account → Delete Account within the App, or contact us at support@figoapp.net. Deleting the App does not automatically delete your account or cloud data.
18.2 Termination by us
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account and access to the Service, with or without notice, for any of the following reasons:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent, abusive, or harmful behaviour
- Non-payment of subscription fees (for Pro features)
- Prolonged inactivity
- Legal or regulatory requirements
- Discontinuation of the Service
18.3 Effect of termination
Upon termination: your licence to use the App ends immediately; your cloud data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy; any outstanding fees remain due; Sections 13 (Intellectual Property), 15 (Disclaimer of Warranties), 16 (Limitation of Liability), 17 (Indemnification), 19 (Dispute Resolution), and 20 (Governing Law) survive termination.
Dispute Resolution
Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, you agree to contact us at support@figoapp.net to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will attempt to resolve any dispute within 30 days of receiving your written description of the issue.
If informal resolution fails, disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or the competent courts of India, as described in Section 20.
Class action waiver: To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against us.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in India.
If you are a consumer resident in a jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, those laws may provide you with additional rights that these Terms cannot limit.
Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings of any kind relating to the subject matter herein.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:
- Posting the updated Terms at figoapp.net/recurr/tos.html
- Displaying an in-app notification for significant changes
- Updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.
For changes that materially reduce your rights or increase your obligations, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice before those changes take effect.
